The Keiki Literacy & Learning Award is designed to provide flexible support in the form of learning subscriptions on an annual basis. Choose a subscription program that works best for your family in the form of child literacy subscriptions for books, travel and science kit subscription boxes, hands-on learning and discovery play kits to inspire and engage. This program supports keiki from birth through age 12. You may select from one (1) of the following eligible learning subscription programs supported by the Foundation:
Dolly Parton Imagination Library (Keiki Ages 0-4 years):
- Hualālai 'Ohana Foundation is an affiliate partner of The Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. The Imagination Library mails high-quality, age-appropriate books to registered children. These books are personalized with each child’s name and mailed directly to their home to create a gifting experience that makes books exciting and encourages families to spend time enjoying books together.
Little Passports (Keiki Ages 3-10 years):
- Oh, the places you’ll go! Little Passports is an award-winning travel subscription box mailed to your child each month. Each package is designed to spark your child’s curiosity about the world so your keiki know the true meaning of wanderlust at an early age. Inspire children to learn about the world around them, one monthly package at a time. This program is age-specific and developed by educators to encourage interest in geography, science, world discoveries and a life-long love of learning. 100% fun, kid-tested for maximum fun.
Kiwi & Co. (Keiki ages 0-12 years)
- Monthly science experiments and design challenges that enable hands-on learning. Project crates for every age and interest!
As of October 1, 2023, the Foundation is no longer offering the subscription learning program Lovevery. If your child has an existing subscription, it will expire on Decemeber 31, 2023. Please feel free to reapply for another learning subscription program for your child by completing a new application.
